“Life might’ve moved on for [Prince Edward], but his personality has not. He’s sort of overly confident in his own self-love. He’s a simple man. He’s very positive and he views everything optimistically. There’s no problem that can’t be solved without a song. Don’t get me wrong, he loves a mirror for sure, but I don’t think he’s aware of that. There’s a purity in playing him that I always liked because it’s really fertile ground for comedy.”
