Singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes has been sharing his music since his early days on social media, & quickly amassed a massive following singing and playing guitar (entirely self taught). If you’ve watched his documentary In Wonder you know his journey, he rocketed into stardom & in just a few years has had four No.1. records toured in sold out stadiums around the world and became an advocate for mental health and youth empowerment.
In our summer Wonderland Magazine issue, he shared his personal and public struggles; giving hope, empathy, understanding, and even mediation tools to us all. Now, after just celebrating his 23rd birthday, he’s surprised us announcing he has new music!
On August 20th he will release his new single “
Summer of Love”, and we were able to get a sneak peak for our Fall Rollacoaster issue.
Speaking on the song, he tells us “I hope this song makes people feel free, free from the weight of life. Even if just for a moment.”
