Taylor Takahashi Covers Rollacoaster Magazine Spring/ Summer 2021

From assistant to movie star, Taylor Takahashi is living the one in a million experience. Starting in 2019 as Eddie Huang’s assistant, fate led Taylor into starring in Huang’s latest project, Boogie. The film follows the coming-of-age story of Boogie, the son of Asian immigrants, and a basketball prodigy in Queens, NY trying to navigate the game and the expectations around him.  

Taylor Takahashi sat down with Rollacoaster to discuss landing the role of Boogie, the importance of authentic representation, and what he’s planning on doing next.
