Award-winning TV and Radio presenter, activist and author Vick Hope’s domination of the airwaves came about through no accident. Following on from a whirlwind rise and rise through the media ranks that was kickstarted by a self-inflicted stint in night school and a trip to Cambridge University, the presenter’s career has been filled with highlights such as shows on BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM, collaboration with the Women’s Prize For Fiction and an upcoming role as the host on the 2021 Virgin Media BAFTAs red carpet.
Sitting down with RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2 winner Lawrence Chaney for Rollacoaster, the presenter talked the future, her dedication to social justice and the anticipation surrounding her role at the 2021 Virgin Media BAFTAs.
