The artist unveils her rock-tinged new single. 

As the track’s title might imply, Ch3ls’s latest effort, “Hellbound” is by no means an airy tune for a light summer’s day. Packed full of the angst and grit of her rock-inspired sound, the new track is a stellar example of the artist’s seasoned understanding of metal and its ability to elicit spine-tingling suspense from its listeners. Doused in her velvety vocals and soaked with a sombre undertone, “Hellbound” is the ultimate commentary on our current climate. 

Speaking on the meaning behind the fiery track, Chelsee Foster explains, “My latest release is the most rockin’ yet! Written with Ryan Maker, Hellbound has a metal feel and a gothic music video shot by Joe Rubinstein in LA: ironically the city the song is referring to. So many of us feel trapped, but there is power within! I think embracing change and even creating it, can fuel that. For me that was leaving Los Angeles behind and starting fresh in my new home of Nashville. This song is about the fire and enlightenment it takes to make that change; and I’m pumped to share it with the world!”
