The artist and DJ enlists the creative stylings of Siorne John for her brand new music video.

Beginning on a soft bed of synthesisers, the artist gets cozy with her signature syncopated beats, ushering in a breezy soundscape that welcomes a sense of calm as the words “baby I love you” are softly spoken. Creating the audial equivalent of elation that comes with falling in love, the new single makes for the ultimate soundtrack for those seeking love — and those that find themselves in the thick of it. 

Accompanying the track, the artist and DJ enlisted director Siorne John to turn her sonic sound waves into a hypnotic visual of spiralling neon LEDs over a grid screen. Letting every note earn a chance to dance across our screens, “baby I love you” is brought to life in a new dimension — creating an enchanting track to keep you under its spell throughout the summer. D’Arcy, we love you. 

Speaking of the visual, John states, "When I first spoke to D’Arcy about the song and how it came to be, she told me that the song was inspired by a voice recording she had of her partner that simply said ‘baby I love you.’ I wanted that key element to remain integral to the visuals I made for the video, so I took the recording of her partner and started to modulate and distort it using a modular synth. I took those sounds and ran them into an old oscilloscope (which is basically a device used to visualize electronic waveforms and sounds). Through this process we are actually “seeing” what we hear, allowing us to experience the sound of “I love you” in a new dimension.”
