Speaking on the single, the artist revealed, “Being that I love astrology and the zodiac, the sign of Gemini is a very dynamic one, and one that can be played around with musically and creatively. Chris Garcia and I were listening to the arrangement he curated, and for some reason, we both started singing "oh, Gemini", and that's what we ran with. One of my most exciting and tarnishing relationships was with a Gemini, might as well make it the time to write about it! To my astrological findings, my moon sign is actually in Gemini, so it was fun to play with that innate duality when filming the music video."
Sitting in a similar groove to previous single “Pure Love”, the singer accompanies the tune with a desert-set video, whereby she shows off her baby pink mustang and dance floor-ready moves. Already working with a selection of Grammy-winning producers such as Jan Fairchild and Damon Sharpe, the singer is scheduled to release her forthcoming album this year, under her own label Oystershell Music.
