    Milan-based jewellers Pomellato give their Nuvola collection a sustainable, brown diamond-infused makeover.

    Get into the sublime and sustainable style of Italian jewellery house Pomellato. The Milan-based brand was launched by fine jeweller Pino Rabolini in 1967, standing the test of time by creating the most ageless of artisanal designs.
     
    Pomellato jewellery is singular in its design, characterised by forms that are round and tactile, and adorned with gemstones of differing sizes and colours. Nowhere could this be more prevalent than in the brand’s Nuvola collection, which has undergone a transformation in lieu of it being a new decade.

     

    Nuvola, which translates to “cloud” in Italian, is Pomellato’s unconventional take on diamond jewels. Fairmined gold bands encase these precious stones, curving and contorting against the rose-hued metal in close, captivating halo formation. For their recent extension of the line, the brand opted for the soft glow of charming brown diamonds, complimenting the copper hues prevalent in pendant and ring form.

    “Sensual rose gold combined with mysterious brown diamonds makes this special edition of Nuvola a subtle and elegant way to wear a diamond,” explains Pomellato’s Creative Director, Vincenzo Castaldo. The precious brown diamonds embodies an occasion less formal than white diamonds, but still retains that chic and effortlessly chill state of being to a T. And when said diamonds are sourced from the Responsible Jewellery Council to ensure ethical standards of trade have been met, what’s not to love?
