The artist has officially dropped her debut album, available now. 

Emily O’Neal's journey into music began at the tender age of 13, performing in her North Florida community and crafting her first songs. It was an instant love affair with songwriting, providing her a vital outlet for her emotions. In 2020, Emily took the plunge and relocated to Nashville to pursue a degree in songwriting and to further her burgeoning music career—because nothing worth having ever comes easy, right? 

Luckily, since then, Emily toed milestone after milestone. She has opened for pop sensation Olivia O'Brien, performed a sold-out show at the iconic Bluebird Cafe, and won the prestigious 2021 BMI John Lennon Scholarship for her single "Paint Me” (to list a few). Her first wave of original music came in 2020, leading to the release of her debut EP, “Otherworldly”, in 2021. Amongst it’s impressive roster of tracks, "Villain" emerged as a fan favourite—one Emily is never short of requests on during her live performances.

In July 2023, Emily released her single "Watercolor," followed by two more singles in the spring; all in a bid to set the stage for her eagerly anticipated debut album, Bird’s Eye View, officially dropping today. The album, featuring 10 tracks, is a reflection on perspective, illustrating how every experience – good or bad – shapes who we are. It could be considered some of the artist’s most personal effort to date, with the track list delicately tracing Emily’s evolution from a shy, introverted child to a young woman navigating the complexities of life and love. Musically diverse, the album offers everything from upbeat, guitar-driven anthems to ethereal, dreamy ballads. Emily's goal with this album is to leave listeners uplifted, creating a net positive emotional experience—and she certainly delivered. 

Emily O'Neal is not just an artist to watch; she's a storyteller, weaving her life into songs that resonate deeply with her audience. With Bird’s Eye View, she invites listeners to see the world through her eyes and find the beauty in every moment.
